3:5 Taken

Luis was growing everyday, and could crawl now. He had inherited his grandmothers hair, something Madison found odd, considering how dark his fathers hair was. She'd convinced Geoffrey to let her throw the creepy doll out after she found out where hers had come from.

"Daddy come?" Luis asked after his father. Madison held him close and kissed his hair.
"Maybe..." She was just thinking of an explanation when the doorbell went. "Shall we go see if that's daddy now?" Luis giggled and bounced around in her arms as she walked to the door.

"DADDIEEEE!!" Luis screeched.
"Shh, Luis, you'll wake auntie Taylor!" Madison tried to hush her child, and Geoffrey stroked his sons cheek. "Come inside. He's been asking after you all day, bless him."

The little family spent some time in Madisons bedroom, before Madison suddenly jumped up
"Did you see that?"
"What?"
"That light! I'm going out there to check it out, I'll be back in a minute." Madison ran out the door and around to the back of the house.

She looked into the sky, and couldn't see anything at first, but noticed a blue thing floating above her head, like a tracker.

Before she knew it, a beam of light shot from seemingly nowhere, and she ran, screaming her head off. This was a little too similar to the movies where aliens abducted people.

She continued screaming as she started to float up the beam of light. She tried as hard as she could to fly out of it, but the light was too strong.

Her screams weren't heard inside the house, Geoffrey stood in her room holding Luis, waiting for her return. He was looking out the window, but hadn't seen anything.

It was minutes for Geoffrey, but it had been a few hours for Madison. She watched her kidnapper run off towards the mountains and contemplated going after her. She decided against it, remembering how this female one had stood up for her, seeming to stop the males from doing something to her. She hadn't understood the language, but she was sure she would have been an experiment if it wasn't for her. She shuddered at the thought of leaving Luis without a mother, and headed back inside to see how he was. She had no idea she'd only been gone a few minutes, but was relieved when she didn't have to explain it to Geoffrey. She would, eventually, but she wasn't sure herself what she'd just been through, and just wanted to go to sleep.

"Happy birthday, cheeky monkey!" Taylor lifted her nephew out of his crib. She'd heard him whining through the wall joining her room to Madisons, and Madison was in such a deep sleep she hadn't heard.

"You're hungry, aren't you?" She handed him a bottle of formula, and Luis gurgled and grabbed for it. Taylor stood back up and smiled, before walking off to shower and get herself ready for the day.

The girls spent the day showering him with attention before his party began.

Lisa arrived while Luis was having his afternoon nap, saying Jackson would be along shortly, but Devon couldn't make it as he was at a sleepover. Madison went to her room to get Luis up while Taylor and Lisa sat at the table and caught up.
"Your father is thinking of retiring." Lisa started.
"Why? He's still got life in him!" Taylor asked, jokingly. Lisa looked sad. "What's wrong, mum?"
"Oh, Taylor. I haven't aged a day since we got married, but he's really starting to look his age. I don't know what to do."
"It'll be ok, mum." Taylor replied. Not sure what she could say to cheer her mother up.

Jackson arrived just as the full moon rose into the sky, and Taylor saw for herself what had her mother so worried. He was graying and using a cane to walk.

"Dad, are you ok?" Jackson rested his cane against the wall and turned to his eldest daughter.
"Of course I am! I'm a grandfather now, I have to look the part." He gestured to his cane, and winced slightly as he twisted his back. "Not been listening to your mother, have you? You know how much she worries." Taylor sighed and then spotted Summer standing behind her father.

"I didn't see you walk in!" She exclaimed, pulling her best friend into a hug. "I'm so glad you could make it!"
"Me too! Wouldn't want to miss the little guys first birthday!" As if on cue, Madison walked in with the man of the hour resting on her hip.

"Hey mum, doesn't feel like it's been a year, does it?" Lisa looked lovingly at her grandson in her daughters arms.
"No, it doesn't, does it. He's growing so fast. He'll be at school before you know it!"
The family spent the evening talking and playing with Luis, teaching him new words, not all good to the annoyance of Madison. Summer could be such a bad influence sometimes.

After a particulary funny joke, Summer offered to take Luis to see his father. She was still only working evenings at the spa, and knew Madison had school in the morning. Madison readily agreed, she was really tired. Luis had been a bit hyperactive today, and she was shattered. Summer dressed Luis in his warm coat, and she and the grandparents left, while Taylor and Madison turned in for the night.

Taylor looked out her window before climbing into bed. There was white rain falling from the sky, and instead of making puddles, it was settling everywhere and gathering on anything outside. She decided she'd look into it at work in the morning, and settled into her bed.

A few hours later, the girls were woken by the sound of Summer shouting outside.
"MADISON, HELP!"
Madison rushed outside, Summer was on the porch with Luis, and a man matching the description of the minions Taylor had mentioned a few weeks ago was staring at him.
"Summer, go!" Madison scooped up her son and ran inside, locking the door behind her and watching through the window to make sure Summer got away before rushing to Taylors bedroom.

"You're ok, baby boy, aren't you. Auntie Summer was there and she kept that mean man away." She snuggled him close. "Me, daddy and Taylor are going to keep you safe your whole life."

Yes, I forgot to change Lisa into her 'warmer' everyday wear. She's at her grandsons party, she dressed up.
Also, obviously it wasn't Luis birthday. I couldn't afford a cake and then realised that I should have done a birthday thing after he'd already aged up. But it makes his age transition smoother anyway...
Also, literally just realised as I'm proofing this, Summer has no shoes on? I'll fix that next time I'm in game, but if she's still barefoot when you next see her it means I shot that scene before I posted this.

  1. Poor Madi, abducted by aliens. I'm glad the one female got her out of there!
And then poor Luis almost gets abducted by a creeper!
Summer is looking cute, even if she's barefoot. =D
Also, always nice to see Geoff. Take a break, Geoff, you work too hard!

    1. I know, I'm hoping that the aliens visit again because I have ideas, but it's not the end of the world if they don't.
Haha, I've never seen anyone with outerwear with no shoes. If I'd noticed, she'd have kept her feet warm sooner. I also just noticed it looks like someone peed where she's standing... Hmm...

  2. Meh. I still haven't switched my family to 'warmer' clothes. Don't worry about it too much yet. lol
Glad we got to see Geoff outside of the festival! Hopefully, he'll be able to visit more soon!
Ack! at the Alien abduction! Did you freak?

    1. Haha, I'm making a point of doing it because the seasons are so important to the story right now, and I set them to quite long so I didn't have to change their outfits every day.
Yeah, Madi, Geoff and Luis were just having some sweet family time, when Madi suddenly ran outside and I was like 'What are you doing woman??' And then Geoff was just there staring out the window haha. I took like 10000 pictures, but obviously decided against using them all...

  3. Wow, Geoff...not working? :o

Odd about the alien abduction...do sims get pregnant from that in ts3? I've only had one alien abduction, and haven't seen a single one since starting my legacy.

    1. Yea, he finishes at 9 and he came over after. :)

Yeah, but only male humans. So even if Madi was male, she'd be safe because she's a fairy. This is the first alien encounter I've had, which is annoying, because in my playgame I have a man actively searching for an alien just so I can have an alien baby!
      Typical ;)

  4. It was nice seeing G again, although I'm still worried over his intentions. He post-poned the wedding due to ecomomic reasons but when Taylor wanted to discuss it he didn't seem to excited? Is he getting cold feet? Feelings getting cold?

  5. NO!!! Trisha wants Luis! She must not have learned her lesson yet. It's a good thing that Summer was alert.

Maybe they can find a way to make Jackson young again. Lisa is so worried that she's going to lose him. I know I'll be sad when he passes away. That's one of the reasons why I never make it past the first generation of a legacy! Sigh! I know they aren't real, but I get so attached!
