3:1 Rain

Taylor didn't start work until the next day, so after Madison was at school, she headed down to the library to get some reading done. There was nothing to do in the house until she could afford something, and so she definately didn't want to sit around there.

After school, Madison took her father up on his offer the previous day, and went to her parents house to watch TV. She watched the news.
"Residents have been confused about the water falling from the sky. It started last night and has continued to fall all day. There have been alleged reports of electricity striking trees, but there is no solid evidence at this time. We're here at city hall where the mayor has something to say..."
"Dad! You need to see this! I think the mayor is going to explain what's happening!"
"...scientists have confirmed it is completely harmless and is 100% water. They can't explain the phenomenon, but assure us it should stop soon. The water has been dubbed 'rain' after Professer Raine who is heading up the investigation..."

 Rain.
"I don't like rain, dad. I've been soaked all day!" Jackson laughed at his daughter.
"Well, hopefully it will stop soon, and I doubt it will happen again anyway."

It was a full moon. The first since Taylors prom, and she was nervous. Summer was having a party, and Taylor had agreed to go, if only so Trisha wouldn't hurt her family. Summer lived next door to the witch, and so she hoped she could just run next door and sort it out if she felt anything, although she didn't have the headache that she'd had before.

Soon, Taylor forgot her worries, and spent the majority of the evening dancing with Summer. It seemed like forever since they'd hung out, and they agreed they'd meet up more often.

Taylor was shocked to see her father at the party. She'd thought it was a young persons party, but soon remembered that Jackson was like a father to Summer, and so didn't bring it up. Jackson didn't seem to be doing much partying. He was more just watching Taylor.
"Are you keeping an eye on me, dad?" Taylor asked, slightly hurt.
"Taylor..." He sighed and mouthed the word 'Trisha'. Taylor nodded and mouthed 'thankyou' back. She'd almost forgotton her father knew she'd been controlled last full moon, and was greatful that he thought to keep an eye out for anything unusual.

It was 3am, and Madison woke feeling soaked.
"What the hell?" She thought as she sat up.

Once she was standing, it all became clear. She was in labour. She knocked on Taylors door, but wasn't a hundred percent sure that her sister was even home. She didn't hear a reply, so instead rang Geoffrey before pulling her clothes on.

She left the house and started for the hospital. Walking was good for labour, right? She hoped it was, although it wasn't a long walk. Geoffrey would meet her there, as he lived the other side of town on campus, and so would have to wait for a taxi.

As she arrived at the hospital, there were some passers by who started freaking out.
"Imagine how I feel!" She threw angrily over her shoulder as she walked in.

Hours later, she emerged with a healthy baby boy. Luis Lansing. The small crowd had gone, and she had to wait for a few minutes for Geoffrey to finish signing papers and come to help her home. A social worker had stopped by when the hospital had rang social services about her age, but she seemed to have no problems. She waited with Madison, and insisted on seeing the house, as apparently a lot of young mothers were kicked out and forced to squat. Madison was lucky to have a sister as supportive as Taylor.
"This is the start of my life..." She thought, looking at the baby in her arms. "I can't believe I've got a baby." She whispered to him.

After she had the baby, she got a taxi home. She put Luis in the crib and then flew back to the hospital to get arrested and escorted home. Taylor then grounded her. :| Only in the sims...

  1. Lol! Lemme guess... curfew? How funny. Don't you love the mass freak out at the hospital entrance?

    1. Yep! I suppose because technically you can't have teen pregnancies, they didn't factor that into the curfew. Most of my sims get arrested after prom too, prom never seems to finish before curfew. Mass freak out is stupid. I get that the sims family and friends nearby should freak out, but why have all the random strangers she walks past know she's in labour and panic? Especially at the hospital!

    1. The police were there when she left, I assume you can't get arrested while carrying a baby? I dunno. They only live down the road anyway, so she walked there but got a taxi home. Guess she was tired from all that pushing...

  5. And that arrest is why I have "no teen curfew" enabled on awesomemod, even though it's technically against the rules. I'll decide when curfew should be enforced, thanks.

  6. awh, comeon?! i'd say giving birth is a perfectly okay reason to break your curfew. but no? no? only in the sims indeed. i hope Geoffrey will start showing up soon, I'm worried he will ditch her and that would be too sad.

  8. So far it doesn't look like Trisha is bothering Taylor. I hope that means that she's decided to leave her alone, but I doubt it.

I wonder what the rain coming means!

Maddie is a Mommy now. I hope that she is a good one!
