2:13 Madison

Lisa had just got ready for bed when she felt the first contractions. Jackson was trying to improve Taylors baby talk in the kitchen.

"Jack, I think she's coming. Could you call the hospital?" Lisa panted, breathing through a strong contraction. Jackson pulled his phone from his pocket, and dialled the number. There had been an accident at the science facility and they didn't want to admit anyone incase there was still radiation present. They would have to do this at home.

Jackson told his wife the bad news, and began to panic. It was her turn to try and keep him calm. She didn't want Taylor getting scared, it was hard enough giving birth to a baby, she didn't need a screaming toddler too.

Hours later, baby Madison was born. It was immediately obvious that, like her sister, she was a fairy.

Lisa took the new addition to the family to the crib, while Jackson went to get the toddler bed from the car. Mercedes had given them Summers first bed to make things easier. Money was still really tight as Jackson was the only one working, and they couldn't afford a second crib. She thought about how she'd felt when she'd first had Taylor. She'd been so worried that nobody would accept her because she was different, but the town had changed so much now, and it wasn't unusual to see non-humans walking the streets.

She then moved to the hall, where Jackson had set Taylors new bed up. It wouldn't fit in either bedroom, and she'd soon be big enough for the bed in the childrens room anyway.

______

It was mid-morning Saturday, Jackson had only just woken up and could hear Madison gurgling next door. As he held her, he heard the front door open and close.

It was Mercedes, come to entertain Taylor for a few hours while they got her birthday party sorted and Madison settled properly.

Mercedes kept Taylor busy, playing with toys and telling her stories until her parents returned from the shops, hiding a large present behind their backs.

_____

It was Taylors 5th birthday, where had the time gone? Jackson was tiding up the house for her birthday party while she played with her stuffed bunny toy. Lisa had baked a cake and was letting it cool before icing while seeing to Madison. It wouldn't be long before Madison was walking and talking now, and she was going to miss having little girls.

Morning passed quickly and it wasn't long before all the guests arrived. As with other birthdays, they had only invited Lisas' parents and siblings, Mercedes and Summer, who were like Jacksons' family. Mercedes unexpectedly bought along Chris, Summers deadbeat father, and the guests all awkwardly danced around the subject, trying not to offend anyone.

Taylor blew out her candles and hungrily grabbed at the cake. No more baby mush for her!

Meanwhile, Summer took her father outside, wanting a quiet word, but found most of Lisas' siblings outside, including Cortez, who annoyed her by following her everywhere at school, wanting to 'protect' her.
"Chris, nobody wants you here." She started.
"Your mother does."
"She doesn't really. You abandoned us and..."
"That was fifteen years ago, Summer, people change."
"You've not shown anything to prove that. Get out. It's bad enough that I have you in my bloodline, I don't need you around my friends or in any part of my life!" She pushed him away and he glared at her. Cortez got ready to grab him incase he moved back, and Darlene backed off a little, not wanting anything to do with this.
"You can't speak to me like that! Or push me around! I'm your father, you should treat me with respect."
"You earn repect, Christopher. You've done nothing for me except donate the sperm to create me. Not a card on my birthdays, not even a smile of recognition on the street. I don't know what Mum sees in you, you're worthless trash." She stormed inside as she could feel the tears prickling her eyes, and didn't want this man to see her cry.

"I don't know why he's here. He wasn't invited." She sighed and sat in the rocking chair in the girls' bedroom. Jackson had just changed Madisons nappy and was putting her back to bed. "I wish you were my dad, Jack."
"Summer," he gently placed Madison back in the crib, turned to her and sighed. "I honestly feel like I am sort of your father. I've been around since you were born, and you know you're always welcome here if Chris shows up at your house, don't you? You can just get the keys off your mum, and if it's late, you can sleep on the sofa without anyone minding. Sometimes I feel like you're my oldest daughter and Taylors the middle child."
"Thankyou, uncle Jack." Summer smiled and swallowed hard, she could feel the tears still trying to make their appearence. "I'll take you up on that, but I'm hoping it's just another fling and he'll be gone tomorrow."

_____

After everyone had gone, Lisa gave Taylor her present. There had been too much going on earlier and they just hadn't had a chance.
"Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!! I love you mummy!!" She jumped up and down, excited

It was a rocking horse, and Jackson helped her carry it outside. It was too late to play on it now, she started school the next day, so she just stroked it for a few minutes before heading inside to bed.

The science facility 'accident' , I'll be shedding light on this at some point.
Also, my poor sims couldn't really afford a crib, but it's not an optional thing :/ usually by now they're rolling in money, I don't know whats happened but I had to sell the toddler toys to pay the bills!

Also, the whole Summer v Chris thing was an accident. He just showed up at the party and I hadn't planned on using the screenshots until I was writing this up, so I unfortunately didn't have enough to make it flow properly. It was just pretty funny how they glared at each other ourtside and then Summer ran to the rocking chair. I don't know if him and Mercedes are back together, I'll have to do some investigating, but I hope not because I don't like him :( I love how Cortez seems to always be around when Summer is too, I'm half hoping EA SP gets them together because in my mind Cortez has a massive crush on Summer.

Cortez is the teenage vampire in a hoodie behind Chris (If you don't remember then he's the guy with the ugly sandals, facing Summer, the teen in pretty clothes), Darlene is the woman with blonde pigtails, you can only see about half of her. They are both Lisa's younger siblings. Also, Lisas' father and two of her brothers are vampires, her mother is a werewolf, her sister is a witch and so the only Bunch who's human is Ethan! :|

Bonus shots:
AAAAHHHH!!! She's in labour!!!
Seriously, Jackson, you're supposed to be the one calming her down!

2:12 Old Friend

Lisa hadn't been out again for a few weeks, she hadn't been able to work out if she really did cast a spell or if it was just a random coincidence. But for now, she had turned her attention to teaching Taylor the basics. She was reading her a bedtime story when she first started feeling ill.

She put it down to being tired, and joined Jackson in bed when Taylor had finally fallen asleep.

She woke in the morning and rushed to the bathroom. She recognised this feeling. Jackson was already at work, and she decided she'd do a test when she'd got Taylor up.

Taylor was in a really bad mood. The terrible twos had well and truely hit by now and she'd mastered the art of throwing tantrums. Lisa began to wonder whether she would be able to handle another child with Taylor acting up like she was.

The day seemed to fly by, and it wasn't long before Jackson burst through the door, announcing he'd just been promoted again.

"That's brilliant, Jack! Even better, because I've got some news for you. I'm pregnant again." Jackson looked shocked at first, they hadn't been trying for a baby, they had planned to have another, just not so soon. Realising he was still gawping, and seeing that Lisas' smile was starting to fade, he quickly smiled at her. She headed to the kitchen to make dinner.

Jackson did some quick calculations, could they really afford this? He would have to put in some extra hours at work, he couldn't ask Lisa to get a job, he knew she wanted to, but there was no way they could afford a baby sitter at the moment.

After dinner, Mercedes popped round. Jackson told her about the new pregnancy and promotion, and she congratulated him. Lisa had got an early night, and so it was just the two of them.

They went to Taylors room, and Jackson put her to bed while Mercedes tidied up her toys. They then went to the living area and talked for a while.

_____

Mercedes had invited Jackson, Lisa and Taylor over for dinner with her and Summer the next evening, Lisa had been ill all day because of the pregnancy, and so she stayed at home in bed while Jackson took Taylor.

He parked the car on the street, opposite Mercedes' house and noticed a woman standing on her neighbors path. He felt like he knew her, and as he got closer he realised he did.

"Trisha...?" He'd recognise that tattoo on her wrist anywhere, but when he saw her deep green eyes he knew for sure.
"Oh, hi Jack! Long time no see." Her eyes drifted down to the toddler in his arms. "Very long time."
"What are you doing here?"
"Good to see you too, Jack." She looked hurt now.
"No, I didn't mean... I just didn't expect to ever see you again"

"There's nothing left for me in Twinbrook." She began, unsure of how much she should tell him, it had been nearly a decade since she'd spoken to him, even longer since she'd seen him. "I figured that if you could make it in Sunset Valley, why couldn't I give it a try?" She decided to skip over the details, they weren't important. "So, who's this little one? Are you married?"

"This is Taylor, and yes, I'm married. Just found out we've got another little one on the way too. I was actually heading next door. My old room mate lives there with her daughter and we were going to have dinner..." This whole situation felt terribly awkward, he needed to get out of here. Something about the way Trisha was looking at him and his child.

"Maybe we could catch up sometime? Mercedes won't like it if we're late for dinner." Trisha nodded. She grabbed a pen from her pocket and scribbled a number down on a gum wrapper.
"It would be good to see you again. See what could have been..." She glanced back at Taylor and headed inside, leaving Jackson confused by her front door.

_____

Time seemed to fly by. It wasn't long before Lisa started to show again. She had gone to her check-ups at the hospital, and they had found out they were having another girl. Taylor was starting to be more independant, and didn't need as much of her parents attention as she'd used to.

Jackson came home from work late one evening, and Lisa was dancing with Taylor in her nightdress. He gave them both a peck on the cheek on his way through to the shower. He hadn't told Lisa about Trisha, and Taylor wasn't coherant enough to tell her. He didn't like keeping secrets from his wife, but something hadn't seemed right about Trisha.

What was it? She'd still had the same hair, same perfume, same tattoos; a butterfly on her wrist and a scattering of stars on her chest. She looked younger than she should do, maybe she was just wearing lots of makeup? It hadn't looked like it. It looked like she was only a few days older than when she last saw her, just a little taller. He felt like he knew her, but didn't at the same time. He shook his head and let the water wash his thoughts away. He had a wife and child, soon to be two children, to think about. He shouldn't worry about his old high school girlfriend.

I have no idea if anyone remembers Trisha, or why she's dressed in orange, but if not it will all become clear soon....

2:11 Breaking Shackles

Lisa enjoyed teaching Taylor the basics. She hadn't thought she would, but it came naturally to her.

It did help that Taylor picked things up easily, she had little wings, and wasn't able to fly properly, but could use them to save herself if she tripped.

She enjoyed playing with her peg box, and quickly worked out which shape went in which hole.

She loved having cuddles with mummy.

And was always excited to have daddy teach her new words and little things about life.

_____

Lisa woke up early one morning. Jackson was getting ready for work, and Taylor was still asleep. She decided to go out and tend to her garden.

She looked out over the back fence. Maywood Glen was just a few minutes walk, and she could see the trees and flowers in full bloom. She desperatly wanted to go to the small park, but hadn't left the house alone in 3 years, and wasn't sure she could do it.
"See you tonight, love you!" Jackson called from the sliding back doors.
"Love you too, have a good day."

She finished up in the garden and headed inside to get Taylor up. Her window was open and had been all night to let some breeze in. She could smell the flowers and the fresh cut grass of the park and started to think about going. Was she really going to do this? Go out without Jackson? Take her little daughter with her out into the dangerous world?

She found herself walking down the path to the glen, she looked back the way she'd come, she could still see her house over the hill, and that creepy ice-cream van was still outside. To the other side was her childhood home, still owned by her parents and full of family. She felt better knowing she was so close to home, and it would only take a second to run to her parents house if she needed to.

As she arrived she noticed another fairy. She had never met another sim like her, besides her daughter, and she was too young to talk about it. Maybe this man could help her. Maybe the same thing had happened to him and he could give her advice.

She set Taylor down on the soft grass and kept one eye on her as she went over to the fairy. She introduced herself and told him about the witch and how she'd become a fairy. It hurt to tell him, bringing back everything she had surpressed since that night, but he'd need all the details if he was going to help her.

"You're not a pure fairy? Ugh, get away from me you impure beast! Take your halfling daughter and get out of my sight!" Lisa was shocked. She didn't care that he insulted her, but she was fuming that he had spoken ill of her daughter. How could anyone be so cold?

As soon as she thought the word 'cold', sparkles surrounded the man and he started shivering, seemingly freezing. Had she just done that? She heard Taylor behind her, giggling. Had she just harmed a man infront of her daughter?

She grabbed Taylor off the patch of flowers she was playing with, and rushed home. Jackson was already home, the car was here. As she climbed the steps up to the door, she tried to think of how to tell Jackson what had happened.

She walked through the door, and Jackson rushed up to her.
"You went out?! Are you ok?" He seemed happy but slightly worried at the same time. Lisa set Taylor on the floor and turned to him.

He took her hands.
"Tell me all about it" Seeing that she was unharmed, he relaxed a bit and started to smile as she told him about her day.
"I took Taylor to Maywood Glen, it was beautiful." She started. She still wasn't sure what to make of what happened with the fairy.

"But something weird happened..." She paused as she watched his face fall, so quickly carried on, rushing her words out while she had the courage. "I met another fairy, he was rude and said something about Taylor being a halfling. He was acting like we were the scum of the earth, and I got really angry. All I did was think that he was cold-hearted for not wanting to help me, but then... I dunno... He started shivering like he was freezing to death, but it was just as warm as normal." Jackson looked confused, and Lisa sighed. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... I think I cast a spell. I don't know how, and I don't know if I could do it again, but I think it was me, Jack."

"I love you, Lisa, we'll figure this out. I'm really proud of you for leaving the house though. You've taken a big step today." He smiled at her and pulled her into a kiss.

Taylor is a spit of Lisa, which is why I gave her the same hair, because the colour of her hair is the only thing different. I was looking for a way to work this magic stuff in, and then Beau Andrews just happened to be at the park, and he was going to help her, but he really was rude, so she's going to have to figure this out on her own.
