3:5 Taken

Luis was growing everyday, and could crawl now. He had inherited his grandmothers hair, something Madison found odd, considering how dark his fathers hair was. She'd convinced Geoffrey to let her throw the creepy doll out after she found out where hers had come from.

"Daddy come?" Luis asked after his father. Madison held him close and kissed his hair.
"Maybe..." She was just thinking of an explanation when the doorbell went. "Shall we go see if that's daddy now?" Luis giggled and bounced around in her arms as she walked to the door.

"DADDIEEEE!!" Luis screeched.
"Shh, Luis, you'll wake auntie Taylor!" Madison tried to hush her child, and Geoffrey stroked his sons cheek. "Come inside. He's been asking after you all day, bless him."

The little family spent some time in Madisons bedroom, before Madison suddenly jumped up
"Did you see that?"
"What?"
"That light! I'm going out there to check it out, I'll be back in a minute." Madison ran out the door and around to the back of the house.

She looked into the sky, and couldn't see anything at first, but noticed a blue thing floating above her head, like a tracker.

Before she knew it, a beam of light shot from seemingly nowhere, and she ran, screaming her head off. This was a little too similar to the movies where aliens abducted people.

She continued screaming as she started to float up the beam of light. She tried as hard as she could to fly out of it, but the light was too strong.

Her screams weren't heard inside the house, Geoffrey stood in her room holding Luis, waiting for her return. He was looking out the window, but hadn't seen anything.

It was minutes for Geoffrey, but it had been a few hours for Madison. She watched her kidnapper run off towards the mountains and contemplated going after her. She decided against it, remembering how this female one had stood up for her, seeming to stop the males from doing something to her. She hadn't understood the language, but she was sure she would have been an experiment if it wasn't for her. She shuddered at the thought of leaving Luis without a mother, and headed back inside to see how he was. She had no idea she'd only been gone a few minutes, but was relieved when she didn't have to explain it to Geoffrey. She would, eventually, but she wasn't sure herself what she'd just been through, and just wanted to go to sleep.

_____

"Happy birthday, cheeky monkey!" Taylor lifted her nephew out of his crib. She'd heard him whining through the wall joining her room to Madisons, and Madison was in such a deep sleep she hadn't heard.

"You're hungry, aren't you?" She handed him a bottle of formula, and Luis gurgled and grabbed for it. Taylor stood back up and smiled, before walking off to shower and get herself ready for the day.

The girls spent the day showering him with attention before his party began.

Lisa arrived while Luis was having his afternoon nap, saying Jackson would be along shortly, but Devon couldn't make it as he was at a sleepover. Madison went to her room to get Luis up while Taylor and Lisa sat at the table and caught up.
"Your father is thinking of retiring." Lisa started.
"Why? He's still got life in him!" Taylor asked, jokingly. Lisa looked sad. "What's wrong, mum?"
"Oh, Taylor. I haven't aged a day since we got married, but he's really starting to look his age. I don't know what to do."
"It'll be ok, mum." Taylor replied. Not sure what she could say to cheer her mother up.

Jackson arrived just as the full moon rose into the sky, and Taylor saw for herself what had her mother so worried. He was graying and using a cane to walk.

"Dad, are you ok?" Jackson rested his cane against the wall and turned to his eldest daughter.
"Of course I am! I'm a grandfather now, I have to look the part." He gestured to his cane, and winced slightly as he twisted his back. "Not been listening to your mother, have you? You know how much she worries." Taylor sighed and then spotted Summer standing behind her father.

"I didn't see you walk in!" She exclaimed, pulling her best friend into a hug. "I'm so glad you could make it!"
"Me too! Wouldn't want to miss the little guys first birthday!" As if on cue, Madison walked in with the man of the hour resting on her hip.

"Hey mum, doesn't feel like it's been a year, does it?" Lisa looked lovingly at her grandson in her daughters arms.
"No, it doesn't, does it. He's growing so fast. He'll be at school before you know it!"
The family spent the evening talking and playing with Luis, teaching him new words, not all good to the annoyance of Madison. Summer could be such a bad influence sometimes.

After a particulary funny joke, Summer offered to take Luis to see his father. She was still only working evenings at the spa, and knew Madison had school in the morning. Madison readily agreed, she was really tired. Luis had been a bit hyperactive today, and she was shattered. Summer dressed Luis in his warm coat, and she and the grandparents left, while Taylor and Madison turned in for the night.

Taylor looked out her window before climbing into bed. There was white rain falling from the sky, and instead of making puddles, it was settling everywhere and gathering on anything outside. She decided she'd look into it at work in the morning, and settled into her bed.

A few hours later, the girls were woken by the sound of Summer shouting outside.
"MADISON, HELP!"
Madison rushed outside, Summer was on the porch with Luis, and a man matching the description of the minions Taylor had mentioned a few weeks ago was staring at him.
"Summer, go!" Madison scooped up her son and ran inside, locking the door behind her and watching through the window to make sure Summer got away before rushing to Taylors bedroom.

"You're ok, baby boy, aren't you. Auntie Summer was there and she kept that mean man away." She snuggled him close. "Me, daddy and Taylor are going to keep you safe your whole life."

Yes, I forgot to change Lisa into her 'warmer' everyday wear. She's at her grandsons party, she dressed up.
Also, obviously it wasn't Luis birthday. I couldn't afford a cake and then realised that I should have done a birthday thing after he'd already aged up. But it makes his age transition smoother anyway...
Also, literally just realised as I'm proofing this, Summer has no shoes on? I'll fix that next time I'm in game, but if she's still barefoot when you next see her it means I shot that scene before I posted this.

3:4 Out In The Open

"I don't know where to start, Madi. I know what I want to say, but it all started so many years ago that I can't decide the important bits."
"Calm down, ok?" Madison tried to stop her sister from pacing. She was panicking, and Madison had no idea why, she'd only said she wanted to talk. "I've got all day, start from the beginning?" Taylor took a deep breath, and stopped by the window.
"Madison. What I'm about to tell you, never leaves your lips. Do you understand?" Madison nodded, worried now. "I've never told another soul any of this, I've told dad a tiny bit, and of course, he pushed for more, but I didn't feel comfortable telling him."
"Ok, Taylor, you're scaring me now."

"Do you know who Trisha Robison is? You met her when you weren't much older than Luis, do you remember?" Madison thought for a second, then shook her head. "Well, that's a lot more story I have to tell you, then. Trisha is... Trisha was dads first girlfriend. Before he lived here with Mercedes, he lived in Twinbrook with his parents, two sisters and a brother..."
"Woah! Wait! Dad has family? What happened?" Madison interrupted.
"Madi! I don't know." She thought a minute. "Infact. Dad has never spoken about a family has he? We'll have to ask him about it and see what he says."
"Wait, if dad didn't tell you then how do you know?" There were so many questions rushing through Madisons head right now. Taylor sighed.
"Look, if you stop interrupting me, then maybe I'll explain how I know!" Taylor snapped and Madison nodded, urging her sister on. "Right, so, Trisha was dads old girfriend in Twinbrook. They broke up after he'd lived here for a bit, and then he started dating mum, and you know the rest. Anyway, Trisha, at some point in her life, moved here and turned mum into a fairy..." Madisons eyes grew wider, and Taylor could tell she was dying to ask a question. She waved it off and carried on.

"So, after mum was a fairy, then nobody saw her until I was... 3? When me and dad were going to Mercedes' for dinner. Mum stayed home, pregnant with you. I don't really remember this bit, but dad knew something was weird about her but still didn't know she was a witch and that she'd turned mum. And then when you were about 3, she came to the house, and you were playing with that doll and I think she mentioned something about how it was from her and so mum and dad threw it out. Anyway, dad found out that Trisha was a witch then, because mum exploded in her face and got all crazy at her.

"And then when I was twelve, I snuck out of the house on a full moon, I was only going to play on the rocking horse, but I thought I'd put the paper in the bin first, and she was out there..." Taylor looked like she was about to cry.

"Tay, you can stop if you want." Madison placed a reassuring hand on her sisters shoulder, and hoped she would go on, despite her words.
"No, I need to tell someone. I've kept all this inside for so long, and I need to tell someone." Madison felt privilaged that she was the one her big sister had chosen. "She was outside the front of the house. She must've known I was coming because she was all dressed up and waiting. She acted all nice, and I showed her how I could turn to sprite form, and she acted impressed, but looking back on it she was just manipulating me. Some creatures appeared over the course of our conversation, they must've been her minions. At the time I was scared of them, I remember them as looking like they were dead, but that's probably just my mind adding to the memory." Madison smiled and nodded.

Taylor started tearing up as all the memories came back to her.
"And on prom night, she controled me and..." Madison couldn't make out the rest, she was crying too much.
"Taylor, seriously, you've told me loads, if you wan't to stop then you can."

Taylor took a deep breath a wiped her tears from her eyes.
"No. I'm going to finish this. She controlled me on prom night and made me fight people, and you know when I was really ill after? That was the effects of whatever she did wearing off. I've been worried every full moon night since because I thought she might take control of me again and try to hurt the rest of our family. But last night... When you got back and I went out? I went to her house and confronted her. You remember that vampire in the shop when we were buying the decorations?"
"Vampire?"
"Yeah, the shopkeeper."
"Oh, I thought she looked different. Yeah, I remember, she looked scared of us."
"Yes, I accidentally figured out how to use my powers, and I think I gave her heart burn or something. So anyway, I went to Trishas to try and do the same to her so she'd leave me alone, and I did, and I knocked her out. I don't think witches are a strong as vampires. But now I'm worried. She has to be more powerful than me, and I don't think I have the strength to keep fighting her all my life."

Madison stood there silently, taking all this new information in.

She leaned in close to her sister, as Taylor covered her face to try to stop the tears.
"Taylor. I would do anything to help you. You've done all this to help our family, and not told anyone anything. I would have helped you sooner, but you didn't tell me, so now I'll do anything I can to put a stop to this." She pulled her sister into a hug "I'll never let that bitch hurt my big sister."

_____

After she'd told Madison, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted. The world seemed brighter, the air seemed fresher, and she felt happier in herself. She snuggled her nephew close.
"I did it Luis. I stopped her. You don't have to worry now." She whispered as she kissed his little nose.

"Your auntie Taylor will always be here for you, I promise."

Meanwhile, Madison was clearing up the water in the bathroom. The sink hadn't needed much doing to it, she'd only had to bash the tap with her fist and the water had stopped spraying. She had a lot on her mind. She wanted to go out and meet this Trisha and give her a piece of her mind. Nobody should hurt her sister like that. But Taylor had made her sound very powerful. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go looking for trouble.

3:3 The Tables Have Turned

After Madison had bought some new clothes, she stopped by the park. There was a fundraiser to help raise money towards the indoor farm the mayor had proposed, and Geoffreys' boss had him working a snack stand there.
"Are you coming over after work today?" Madison asked.
"I'd love to, baby, but I don't think I'll be done til late and you have school tomorrow. I'll see how it goes, but if I'm not done by nine I'll come tomorrow." Madison looked upset at this information. "I'm sorry Madi, but we need the money, and this fundraiser is busier than anyone expected, we've been told to stay til midnight at the latest, but I don't think it will die down anytime soon." Madison nodded.

As if to prove his point, a man came up to stand behind Madison, forming a small queue.
"My boss is watching, Madi. You need to buy something or let me serve the man behind you." Madison smiled and ordered herself a cinnimon donut. She paid for it and went to find a table.

She found a seat near to Geoffreys stall, and sat opposite a woman who'd bought her own picnic.
"Hey, you're the teen mother aren't you?" Madison rolled her eyes. She had no idea who this woman was, but the whole town seemed to recognise her as the underage mum.
"Yes." She sighed, taking another bite of her donut, trying to finish it sooner so she wouldn't appear rude by walking off halfway through. She didn't need rumours spreading saying she was the rude teen mum as well.
"Well, you're not fat at all! My friend said that you'd got really fat and couldn't lose the weight after the baby was born. How is the baby? What's it called?" Madison was confused as to where the rumours about her weight came from, but was glad nobody knew her sons name.
"She's called Violet." She lied. The more she could do to give Luis a normal life, the better.
"That's a pretty name. Is she a fairy too?"
"No, she's a human like her father."
"Aww, do you live with him?" Madison shoved the last of her donut into her mouth, tired of the questions and out of lies. She stood up.
"No, I don't want to talk about the father." The woman gave her a knowing look and nodded. Obviously assuming the father had run at the first sign of responsibility, and Madison politely said goodbye and walked home, texting Geoffrey on the way "Sorry I didn't say bye. Woman gossiping bout me. C u 2moro love u xxxx"

_____

As Madison came home, Taylor announced she was going out, and left for Trishas house. When she got there she rang the doorbell, and was surprised when the witch invited her inside with a friendly handshake.

"So, what can I do for you, Taylor? I've not seen you in a while, I was worried you'd fallen out with me after our encounter at the pool." A slimey smirk stretched across the witches mouth, making Taylor annoyed.
"Fallen out with you? For me to fall out with you, we'd have had to have been friends. We were never friends." Trisha laughed a little, and Taylor rolled her eyes.
"How are you finding being an aunt? I bet your nephew is a little sweetie, but keeping you up at night."

"Don't you dare bring him into this! If you ever go near him I'll crush you like the slimy worm you are!" Taylor raised her hand, once again feeling compelled to slap her across her face. Trisha backed away, flinching at the hand raised towards her.
"Look, I was just making small talk! No need to go crazy!" The remark was meant to calm her down, but Trisha could sense that it only made the fairy more angry.

She turned and walked towards a door, which Taylor assumed was her bedroom. She grabbed the witches wrist and pulled her back round to face her. Her wrist was unusually hot on the top where her palm had been, and Taylor quickly pulled away and stared at her. She noticed a butterfly tattooed on the area the heat came from.
"What was that about?" Taylor asked, pointing to the tattoo. Trisha shrugged.
"Fairies have wings, witches have familiars."
"Familiars are pets." Taylor was confused now.
"Not always. It isn't always practical to have a black cat following you around, is it? Especially when you don't want everyone to know you're a witch. Do you really think we all go around in pointy hats, riding broomsticks and making potions in cauldrens?" Taylor blinked. It made sense. Childrens stories and folklore made people think one thing so that the witches could blend in and live normal lives if they wished.

"But I saw you using a broomstick." She pointed at the witches face, and Trisha flinched away, covering her nose.
"Ow! What the hell are you doing?"
"What? I didn't do anything!" Taylor thought back to a second ago, she'd felt only a slight tingle, but it was definately how it had happened at the shop with the vampire the day before. She'd just hurt Trisha.

"Get out! I don't need this. I've been nothing but polite to you, and even told you stuff you didn't need to know, and then you go and throw your stupid fairy dust in my face? I made you!" Trisha started pulling Taylor to the front door by her arm, Taylor saw her opportunity, and jumped over a small room divider, turning Trisha in the process.

She realised Trisha was stunned, and before she could react she pushed out with her arms, as she had done in the shop. She heard Trisha gasp in pain, but kept pushing. She was going to get her back for all that this woman had put her through. She was going to make sure her nephew, and any children she had herself, would never have to put up with her and her silly little mind games.

Trisha was gasping for breath. Her chest felt like it was being crushed, and her heart was either beating so fast she couldn't tell, or it had stopped completely. How had this fairy got so powerful? She'd wanted her to work on her powers, but had never known that a fairy born in these circumstances could ever gain power this great.

Trisha finally succumbed to the pain, and collapsed on the floor. Taylor stood for a moment and looked at the witch. The tables had turned, and now Taylor was the one in control.
"I don't think you'll be bothering me again." She smiled at the witchs' unconcious body. Proud of herself, she left and headed home.

_____

The next day, Taylor was a bundle of nerves. The triumph of the night before had worn off, and left her feeling paranoid. Had she really done the right thing? A splash of cold water from a broken tap made her snap out of her trance-like state, and turn to cursing the cheap plumbing.

Madison was using her spare few minutes to complete her homework assignments. She was distracted by her sisters outburst in the bathroom though.

Taylor walked out of the bathroom and seemed surprised to see Madison up.
"Oh, Madi..." she trailed off, wondering whether to explain herself or not. Madison looked up from her notebook briefly.
"Morning, Taylor. Are you ok?" She looked back to the work infront of her, but couldn't concentrate anymore.
"Um, not really. Do you have time to talk...?"

>:D Well, that seemed like a good place to stop...
No, seriously though, the scene where they talk is too long to add on, and although after she left Trisha's was a good stopping place, I felt evil and wanted to leave you all hanging.

Also, I meant to put this on the last one:
Mz Bratt - Falling Down
This music video shows a different side of teen pregnancy. I intend it to be a kind of disclaimer, as I realise the issue of teen pregnancy may be recieved as 'adult' and I don't have the adult content warning on my blog. The music video obviously also deals with adult situations, and is sad, but is there to show I am in no way glorifying teen pregnancy as it very rarely ends up like Madi and Geoff.

3:2 Long-Term House Guest

As the weeks went by, Taylor started doing overtime. They really needed the money, and when her first months paycheck came through, she was thrilled to find she had enough for a dining table and chairs, and a counter to prepare the food on. As well as lights! The house looked a lot bigger now they could actually see, as they'd been living in the dark for weeks, unable to afford lightbulbs.

She put the new counter to good use, and decided to try making a salad. The girls' mother had given them some reserve vegetables she'd grown before the climate went kaput, her supply was dwindling, and the mayor was having vegetables flown in from the city of Bridgeport. Bridgeport had pollution problems like any city, so had always grown food indoors, here in Sunset Valley they had never had that problem, and hadn't built an indoor farm yet and so food was pricier and nowhere near as fresh.
"I'm making dinner, Madi." She called through to her sister, who was most likely napping.

Madison was awake, for once. She was feeding Luis, although she wished she was asleep. Her parents had given her the crib Devon had used last, and they said they'd give her the toybox and toys she had played with as a child herself when her brother was finished with them.

Motherhood was a lot harder than Madison had expected. In her mind, Geoffrey and her would have been married and living together for a few years first, they'd have enough money to support themselves and a family, and a stable household. In reality, Geoffrey was there as much as he could be, but as he worked so late he'd often only be over an hour or two before Madison really needed her sleep and he had to leave. He was trying to earn enough money for a deposit on a rental house for the couple and their newborn, but it was proving very difficult. Madison would have got a job by now if she hadn't had Luis. Taylor couldn't watch him for her because she got paid a lot more than Madison would at a part time job, and so it seemed silly for Taylor to pass up overtime when the girls needed the money so badly. Madison spent most of her days alone. She had to hire a sitter for while she was at school, but couldn't afford to keep them while she did her homework, and found it very difficult to juggle a baby, school work, eating and sleeping on her own. Her grades had fallen from As to Bs, and she found herself quickly scribbling homework on the schoolbus to and from school as that was the time she was most likely to do it.

The girls sat down at their new table to eat the first proper meal they'd had since moving here. The house still didn't feel like home. The walls were still bare plaster, and the floor just the foundation floorboards.
"Madi, as you're going to be living here for a few years, I wondered if you wanted to come with me at the weekend to pick out carpet and wallpaper for your bedroom. I can't afford to decorate the whole house yet, but I can afford to do our bedrooms and I want you to pick what you like." Madison smiled at her sister. She was so thoughtful.
"I'd love to! But can I have a new bed instead? It's sooo uncomfortable!"
"Madi, I want to put stuff on the walls. I want it to look better. If it looks better, we'll feel better. Trust me." Madison nodded in agreement. It wasn't her money anyway, and it was up to Taylor to decide what to do with it. Madison was just a long-term house guest.

The girls finished up, and Taylor took the plates to wash in the bathroom sink, another purchase from her paycheck, while Madison put the leftover salad in the fridge. Geoffrey had bought the girls this fridge. It was Madisons favorite colour: green, and it was Geoffreys way of doing what he could as he was going to buy a crib before Madisons parents had announced they still had one.

Thinking of Geoffrey reminded Madison of how much she missed him. How much she wished he could be here all the time to play with Luis and spend time with her. Taylor came out of the bathroom and noticed her sister looking upset and rested a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"I miss him, Tay. I want him to witness his son growing up. He'll miss all the important bits of his early life because he has to work so hard."
"Madi. Stop blaming yourself. It's not your fault, well... Ok, you know what I mean. You two didn't plan this, and you'd set out a life plan in your head, and I'm afraid life just doesn't always go to plan. You're having to grow up really quick, but at least you know Geoff is always there for you, and he would leave work if you really needed him to. I think you're doing really well keeping on top of school work with a baby! God knows I couldn't do it!"
"Taylor, my grades are slipping. That's what I promised Mum and Dad wouldn't happen."
"Hey, you're a B student now. I was, look at me, I turned out fine!"
"Yes, but without my A grades I'm just 'that girl who had a baby'. I'm not breaking any moulds or setting examples." Taylor looked at her sister and thought for a moment. She wished there was something she could say to make it all better, but knew that nothing she could say would change anything. She couldn't sacrifice her overtime hours to help more with Luis, as it wouldn't be long before he would start eating solid foods, and they would really need the money when that happened.

_____

Geoffrey came over that night as usual, and Madison settled in her bed as she watched him playing with his son. Luis always seemed to light up when his father came to visit, and slept better when he'd been over too. It was obvious he would grow up to be really close with his father, and Madison hoped that it wouldn't be too long before they could live together as a family.
"How's the saving coming along?" She asked, sleepily.
"Ok." Geoffrey replied, bouncing his baby boy infront of his face. "It will still be a few years before we can afford anything, and I hate to say it, but we might have to change our wedding plans." Madison nodded, and then realised Geoffrey's back was turned.
"Yeah, I thought as much. What do you want to do? Wait a few more years and still have a big wedding, or just have a small ceremony at the registry office?" Geoffrey kissed Luis and placed him gently back into the crib, before turning and sitting on the end of the bed.
"I'm easy. To be honest, I really don't care how big or small the wedding is, I just want the paper telling me you're mine and won't run off" He grinned and ticked his girlfriend.
"Stoppit!" He did. "I wouldn't run off, G, you know that." He smiled and took her hand.
"I know, babydoll. I was just messing." He looked at his watch. "I'd better go home. I've got a mock exam tomorrow and I need to revise a bit before bed." Madison nodded, and Geoffrey leaned down and kissed her. "Hopefully I'll be over tomorrow. Love you."
"I love you too." He leaned down and kissed her again before heading towards the door and turning the light out as he left.

_____

As promised, that Saturday, Taylor and Madison went to look for flooring and wallpaper. They first dropped Luis off with their parents so they wouldn't have to worry about a baby screaming and crying all day while they were wandering around.

As they entered the busy department store, Madison went off to look at colour charts while Taylor decided on a different approach and decided to talk to the shop owner. She told her the budget they were working with, and the measurements of the rooms they hoped to decorate.

Taylor was a little apprehensive when an angry looking customer stalked past her just as the shopkeeper was about to direct her to the area where she could find the right priced items, but decided to ignore him and focus only on the woman in front of her. She listened as the lady told her the area of the shop to look in, and thanked her.

She was about to turn away when she noticed the lights glint off her teeth. They weren't just teeth, they were fangs! This woman was a vampire, not a very friendly one either! The woman reached out to grab her and Taylor went to push back. She didn't want to be bitten, she was happy as a fairy, and didn't plan on becoming a vampire or fairy-vampire mix anytime soon! Before her hands touched the vampire, she felt a jolt like electricity shoot down her arms and into her fingertips, she felt it leave her body and saw the womans face screw up in pain.

The vampire then blew out a ball of fire, and Taylor stood there, shocked. What just happened?

The pair acted natural, but were both shocked about the fairies outburst and her power. Another angry looking customer stalked past them towards the stairs, and Taylor used this opportunity to find her sister, buy the goods and leave.

_____

The girls spent the remainder of the day putting up wallpaper and laying down carpets. The shop owner had given the pair a huge discount, and so they'd been able to buy decorations for the whole house. Madison had no idea why, but she was sure the cashier had looked terrified of the girls, which seemed weird as nobody was scared of fairies. Fairies were known to be gentle, peaceful creatures, who were at one with nature and spent their time dancing among flowers, not striking fear into the hearts of anyone.

The girls had also hung pictures they'd been collecting, and this helped to make the house feel more homely. Madison chose to hang pictures of her, Geoffrey and Luis, whereas Taylor had opted for Summer and Chiquita. They'd hung pictures the two of them had taken together as teenagers in the kitchen as this was their joint space.

As Madison was climbing into bed, she looked over to her son in his crib. He was joined in there by a doll his father had bought him. Madison hated the thing, it was so creepy and it reminded her of a doll she'd seen in pictures of her as a young child. Nobody would tell her what had happened to that doll, maybe she just lost it, but she didn't like seeing this one in her room. She felt a lot better about living here now they'd decorated though, as her sister had said she would. It even made her bed feel more comfortable.

Taylor had chosen a more grown-up pattern for her walls. She wasn't happy with how similar it was to her bedsheets, but she was going to get new bedsheets when she could afford a new bed anyway. She looked out the window as she climbed into bed. It would be a full moon in two nights. She had to do something. The thought of the moon filled her with dread, and she hated that her life was so ruled by Trisha. Her thoughts turned to what had happened with the vampire earlier. Maybe she could find a way to control the power she'd held at that moment, and turn it against Trisha. She decided she would spend the next day practising and then when she felt ready, she'd go to Trisha.

_____

Madison was already eating leftover salad for breakfast when Taylor got up the next morning. She noticed her sister was shivering, and took out her purse.
"Here." She said. Placeing some notes on the table. "Go buy yourself some warmer clothes before you freeze to death!"
"Taylor, you don't have to! It will get warm again soon and then it will be just wasted money!"
"And what if it doesn't, Madi? It's getting colder everyday, and you can't go around in shorts and a crop-top anymore. Please, just take it. I'll watch Luis for a few hours."
"Fine." Madison reluctantly picked the money up and put it in her pocket, before finishing her breakfast.

"Hey little Luis! Auntie Taylor is going to banish a bad, bad witch and then you won't have to ever worry about anything. She's going to make it so your mummy and daddy can live a happy and peaceful life and bring you up without any problems. Ok?" Taylor bounced her nephew infront of her face, making him giggle and blow bubbles from his nose. Taylor pulled a face. "Eeew! Who's a dirty little burrito? You are!" She sighed and took him to the bathroom to wash him up. "I'm going to miss you when you and mummy move out. Promise me you'll visit your favourite auntie lots and lots."

That last picture of Taylor breaks my heart. She looks so upset like she really wants her own child! I'll see what I can do, Taylor...
